Altered tissue box

I have been suffering from chronic flu for the past few months and accumulated loads of empty tissue boxes. So decided to alter it for the purpose of my pen and other items storage. Due to horrible weather outside and what com es with that a very grumpy mood decided to brighten up my days and use K&Co 'Small Wonders' paper. Left the other 2 pages only with green ribbon and pearl beads trim so I can put it against other storage on my desk.

Smash Book

On Sunday I spoke with my Husband about owning a Smash Book from K&Co and how difficult it was to get it here in UK. I looked online but the prices were quite high so I felt I will just make one myself. So with that though yesterday I went to my local Hobbycraft to purchase some neccessities. To my greatest surprise I saw the new collection in the front of the store:' Smash Scrapbooking Book'.  I was in seventh heaven and quickly purchased all the goodies I wanted.

So this morning as I worked late I decided to make my first arrempt to start a smash book page. It was very quick job and I just love all the ready decorated pages. After spraying mists, inking and stamping the background here I embellished the page. This page was so fun to complete and all I had to do was stick things I liked or disliked (like the spider) and Voila! I really advice anyone who loves srapping to try this form of craft! I am hooked!!!!!

Magnolia card

Decided to take a little brake from making all those mini albums and made a Magnolia card. I intentionally left it without any sentiment so I can use it for Birthdays or Mother's Day (Polish Mother's Day is on the 26th May) or just a friendship card. 

I used :

•  Magnolia free digi stamp and painted it with Tim Holtz distress ink and used Perfect Pearls from Ranger to color hair and angel wings
• Papers are from DCWV collections: Nanna Nursery, Madly in Love and the corners are from Once upon a Time paper stacks
• Scalloped ribbon is from Dovecraft Cupcake Boutique 
• Fabric leaves are from my stash
• Flowers are also from Dovecraft Cupcake Boutique
• Flat pearl and the stick pin are from my stash.

Here is another project that I am working at the moment! My Shabby chic Wedding mini album........ It's not far away until it's fully completed just need to work on few more pages and think off a new way to bind this album.

'You are so sweet' cupcake mini album

Hello! As mentioned in my earlier post I was working on another mini album. This time it was a cupcake shaped chipboard album and I used Dovecraft Cupcake Boutique collection. This was a very fun and quick project. It took me only 3-4 days doing in couple of hours a day.  Sorry for the heavy pictures post I should have really make a video of it but just could not be bothered to set up my camcorder. Especially as my Husband is playing X-box again!!!!

So before the weekend I decided to visit my local Hobbycraft store and spotted that Cupcake boutique collections! I knew straight away what I will be doing with this!!!! I loved it all except the paper pad! It was too color full for me. So used some papers from Vintage Collection by Grace Taylor and Small Wonders paper pad from K&Company!

I'm still not sure what I am going to do with the album. Either it will be a gift for someone close to me or I will just use it myself. Was thinking about putting up pictures of my nieces and nephews there but I'm not entirely sure. Ok for the supplies I used:

Mini album of my Niece Lottie!

Hi guys! Thanks to great friend of mine Cebelica and her blog I'm getting new friends here! I love her work a lot and she is an amazing crafter! Maja you are the best! 

As I have finished mine and Cebelica's first mini swap ( will be in the post tomorrow) I started working on another mini this time it's a chipboard cupcake mini album. But as the work progresses I want to share another mini of mines which I made few years back. Hope you enjoy it!

Baby girl card

One of my friends recetly had a baby so I decided to make a card for her little one. I did not have a lot of time hence this quick and easy card.

Mini album swap

I just received Prima 'Firefly' paper stack through the post! And I'm in love!!! The colours and patterns are amazing and I can't wait to start working with the pad.

I am making a mini swap with Cebelica and even started on the mini with Grace Taylor 'Vintage Collection' but after receiving Prima papers I changed my mind!!!
