Maya Road handbag mini album
This is one of my first mini albums I have completed. Once I saw on youtube that Maya Road had such a design I had to get it and few days later my order came through. I distressed the edges with black ink and used C&Company Blue Awning collection which included paper stack, words and swirls adhesive chipboard and phrases, swirls and beads rub ons. I also added metal embossed butterflies from Making Memories, some punched handmade flowers and ribbon I had in my stash.
Front cover of the mini album using the papers, black lace with little pearls, some ribbons and tulle from my stash and MM embossed butterfly.
That's how the handbag mini looked like after opening the pages.
First page of the mini... I used a frame and a Family phrase from a wedding set (unfortunately I can not remember where the set came from) I inked the frame in blue and added chipboard pieces from the collection, another of the metal butterflies and added a ribbon.
A frame and chipboard piece from the collection with a green ribbon and hearts from wedding set.
Again a first page (close up).
Some chipboard pieces with flowers (can't remember who designed them), some handmade paper flowers and a blue feather.
A simple page with chipboard pieces and ribbons from my stash.
Chipboard frames from the collection, more metal butterflies and flowers.
I traced a shape of a butterfly and transferred a paper with distressed edges. Added a yellow ribbon, chipboard frame and few pieces from the wedding collection plus a rub on.
Another of the wedding set frames which I embossed in my Sizzix and heat embossed with gold powder. Added some blue crystals, tulle bow and another butterfly. Page on the right has a bird from wedding set, paper flowers and a blue feather.
Last page is quite simple just a chipboard piece from the Blue Awning collection.
Hope you like it! If any comments: negative and positive ( will take both if they are constructive) feel free to add them here :D
Hello and welcome to my scrappy craft page!
I decided to follow other craftsmen and made my own scrappy craft blog. I have been blogging for a little while on other page but rarely posted what I have made. So here I want to introduce to you my very own page.... The Craft of Mimi.
