For now will post some of my and Husband's Halloween costume especially the make up. He dressed as a Voodoo Man and I took a costume of Miss Scissorhands. The costumes were great the only disappointment were the scissorhands but I have not worn them too long. The make up was the fun part... Used Snazaroo's face paint and specialty FX scar wax. Loved loved the outcome and here are few photos for you to enjoy!

Me again...A little bit more scary.
As with every blog I start strong and keep going for few months or so just to stop in my tracks. And here it happens again. I really just should sit down everyday and make a little note on the the project. Been working on several crafty projects recently for Family's Christmas presents... will be posting when it's completed.

Another of my Smash Book pages...
So Sorry!!! I know I have not been posting a lot recently and have not participated in any challenges on the blog etc! I honestly do not know what happened. I guess time always flies by when we want it to stop... I had so much work recently with tons of paper work and loads of meetings and court appearances that I could not find a lot of spare time to do any crafting. Recently (this morning actually) just made a smash book page and it took me only half hour or so (most of the time I spent on hand stitching the page). So here is how the page looks:
It's quite a simple design but I think sometimes simple is better. I have printed a free background from the internet adding a quote written in the open office. Then added a DCWV paper from Tattered Time collection. With black pen I had drawn simple running stitch. On top of my photo I glued a Maggie Holmes' fabric frame in yellow and stack Dear Lizzy sticker saying. I cut 3 flags from papers from my stash and mounted the orange one on the top of the picture frame and 2 on the left side. I also hand drawn the stitching pattern. On the top orange flag I added 2 flowers with a button and a basic twine. Between the petals (not really seen on the photo) I added Maya Road's canvas button which I inked with Fire-brick red and added some perfect pearls. The top flower was painted using pink liquid pearls and the green button was from my stash. At the end I added a pebbles journalling card in the left upper corner and finished off the page doing back stitch around the entire page!
I wanted to enter this page into a challenge:

Birthday card
Hello everyone!
Here is just a guick post of my Birthday card for young person at work. I used Madly in Love DCWV paper as a background and the shoe image was a acetate I purchased in my recent craft show. I used shimmer glue to adhere various glitters and added liquid pearls as buttons in the front of the shoe. At the back I added lace from my stash and I used my dies to cut the flower and the vines. The sentiment I printed off my computer and inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. Afterwards I used glossy accents over the writing and added small drops of liquid pearls in the corners.
This was a very quick last minute card and the pics were taken by my mobile phone and unfortunately the picture is not the best focused one. And as the card is gone now I am unable to retake the photo. I guess it's a lesson for myself to always check the pictures before giving the projects away.
I am adding this card to following challenges:
I hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather and liking my card. I will be back with more projects but currently have been working on 'Twilight' themed mini album for my sister in law's birthday!!!!

Smashbook 06/04/13
Today I have been working on my next smashbook page! I used few of my new goodies I got on the craft show. I really had fun doing this page and wished I would have more space for photos of the nature. I took them last year in spring during our trip to Butterfly world. I love photographing the nature and looking back a the pics I can't imagine it's still quite cold outside.
Anyway I used Dylusions clear stamps couture collection Walk in the park which I painted with Promarkers. I used Creative expressions Brick Wall mask and inked it with Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink. I stamped butterflies Black Soot distress ink and added blue gems. I used my Flower Flourishes from Joy! crafts to make the bigger flowers and Britannia Die small rose die for the little roses. The vines were cut from Joy! crafts vintage borders die. The wooden butterfly was from Dovecraft wooden embellishments. I used liquid pearls in petal pink and platinum pearl to bling up the pages.
Here are few pictures of my 2 page layout!!!
I would like to enter the pages to following challenges:
Have a great evening everyone!!! Hope you like my pages.

Easter Card and new promarkers!
Happy Easter everyone! I know I'm a little late but had been busy with my family and did not do much craft. This morning I have been home alone as Hubby went to work so I took all my new supplies out(! I got promarkers!!! ) and made this little card. I usually do not do Easter cards as the amount I have to spent is way too high for me to give to everyone. Here are the pictures.
I used |Small Wonder's K&Co paper pad for the background and used Glossy Accents on the dots. The round small circled punched out paper is Nanna's Nursery from DCVW and the strip comes from Dovecraft Princess Fairytale paper pad. The rabbit was hand drawn from step by step tutorial: here is the link: http://www.dragoart.com/tuts/5223/1/1/how-to-draw-a-bunny.htm I painted the rabbit using mt Tim Holtz inks and some new Promarkers!!! I just love them! Will need to buy few more for my stack. I used once more my Glossy accents on the rabbid! The paper flower is from hobbycraft collection and the ribbons are from my stash. The green flower gem was from Papermania Capsule collection embellishment set.
I would like to put this card into following challenges:
Hope you like the card!!!! Comments are really appreciated!
Baby boy mini album
Here is one of my older projects I made for my twin sister when she was pregnant with her little baby boy. James is not 9 months old so it has been some time since I completed the mini but at that time I had forgotten to made the pictures. Since I spent Easter with her (Happy belated Easter wishes everyone) I decided to make some photos now. As you can see on the pictures I my sister started to put the pictures inside but due to being a new mum again and having to raise 2 kids and moving home the progress is quite slow :P
Anyway back to the mini... it is a chipboard mini album and I think I used Blue Awning K&Co paper pad. I am not sure about rest of the embellishments but I guess if someone has a question I can try to remember what I had put in the mini.
So here are the pictures...
Hope you like it! Any comments are much appreciated!!!
